Picerne's Home Buying Process

Picerne Homes has been delivering dreams for 90 years.

1 – Select
  • Select your home site and home plan

2 – Reserve
  • Reserve your lot for 30 days with a nominal refundable deposit.

 3 – Customize
  • This is the time to make your personal selections and customize your home to match your dreams.
  • Once complete- Sign the purchase and sales agreement

4 – Financing
  • You are not required to obtain a construction loan when building with Picerne Homes but will need to receive preliminary approval for your conventional loan. 
  • Construction on your new home will now begin.


​5 – How you will be involved
  • Pre-construction meeting at the home site
  • MEP walk through (this occurs once framing is complete)
  • Pre-Drywall Meeting
  • Customer Orientation and introduction to your new home
  • Final Walk Thru – Your satisfaction is our goal

6 – Closing
  • Final paperwork to transfer ownership of your new home. 
  • Get the Keys and Move in.

7 - After Move In
  • 30 Day check-up – Picerne will contact you and address any questions you have now that you’ve had a chance to actually live in your new home.
  • One Year Warranty Service Order – Complete any warranty items. 
  • Final Survey – We want you to love your new home!
